Description

Addiction is can affect everyone. Thankfully, Anne Arundel County has Serenity Sistas to help navigate. Angel Traynor is a thrice convicted felon who made the decision to kill herself more than 17 years ago -- all due to her addiction. Today, she is 17-years clean and sober, and Anne Arundel County should be glad, because she is now standing side by side with police and crisis response to offer a helping hand to those suffering from addiction.

Serenity Sistas operates six non-clinical recovery homes for women, women with children, and now men in Annapolis. Residents are given the tools to recover from addiction. Like their logo, a lotus flower, Serenity Sistas will help to bring you out of the muck, up through the dirty water, and allow you to bloom in the fresh air.

All in all an amazing organization led by a woman who will only talk the talk, because she walked the walk!

Have a listen!
