We've all seen the jokes about getting older and the requirement to get into birds. But you know, they ARE fascinating. Today, we talk with Kelly & John Gjovic, the owners of Wild Birds Unlimited in Edgewater, who were a wealth of information and likely the impetus for my next hobby!
After a career in the retail and restaurant industry, they decided to make a more relaxing move. Nature is in John's DNA; hailing from North Dakota, he fondly recalls outings with his father and seeing the wealth of birds! While we are not North Dakota, we do have a wealth of birds in the area from finches, to robins, to bluebirds, to cardinals, and they all have different "personalities." And Wild Birds Unlimited has what is needed to bring it all together to make your yard attractive to our flying friends!
