In the midst of the temptation to worry about our necessities we are told to SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!

We are to seek first his rule his reign in our lives!

Verbs. baqash ^1245^, "to seek, search, consult." This verb occurs only in Ugaritic, Phoenician, and Hebrew (both biblical and post-biblical). It appears in the Bible about 220 times and in all periods.
Basically baqash means "to seek" to find something that is lost or missing, or, at least, whose location is unknown
II. What is the Kingdom of God?
Kingdom of God (the spiritual domain over which God is sovereign)
KINGDOM OF GOD, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN The sovereign rule of God, initiated by Christ’s earthly ministry and consummated when the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ (Rv 11:15).

Matthew 12:28 - But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
So we are to allow His Rule
