Door : the entrance to God’s presence. The extended meaning of the word “door” means to surrender, to conquer and to flow.

The place where we “realize God’ and appreciate His value. The place where we know Him from personal experience and investigation and proving. Jesus came as the "tent of meeting" as the "door of the tabernacle" those who came to Him found provision, healing , fellowship, teaching, revelation, promises, direction, love, mercy, grace, the prophetic word, the words of judgment, and the beauty of the Lord
The witness of God, the prescription of God, the provision of God the power of God
"Tent of meeting" manifested God's glory (John 2:11)

The believer: 2 Corinthians 6:16 " ...as for us, we are an inner sanctuary of the living God. even as God said, " I will dwell in them in fellowship with them as in a home and I will live my life in and through them
dwell - "to influence for good" the place of the sanctuary is temporary but the person of the sanctuary is permanent
God now dwells within this fleshly "tent of meeting" to inspire, to instruct, to protect, to provide, to bless,
The "tent" is now where people stumbling in darkness can meet the light of God. the "Tent" is now where people can come to find all that was available at the "door of the tabernacle"
As the "tent of God" we symbolize the presence of God.
David pitched a tent for God – God pitched a tent for man
Jesus, the tabernacle of God becomes the visible, tangible divine presence of God on the earth.
Jesus is set up as the tent of God, the dwelling place of God
He brings the fulfillment of all the Old Covenant reasons for a tent of meeting
God sets His tent up outside of the Camp outside of the religious system
Tents are used for special occasions
1. To invite friends in to eat and drink – fellowship
2. To prosecute war
Tent O.T. –temporary dwelling place of God
Remember Solomon knew that no man made temple could house the God of the universe
God prepared a body to express Himself through (John 1:18)
A body who could possess the fullness of the Godhead bodily
David said “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of God”
Now the house of God comes to man, (acts 10:38)
Jesus said “I am the door” – where people could meet with God and expect to find: the provision of God -the presence of God – the power of God - revelation of God – teaching – healing – judgment – direction – anointing – the glory of God – the beauty of the Lord and mercy and love flowing from Him.
Some people recognized the true tabernacle (blind men cried out to Him)
What about today? 1 Corinthians 6:14-16 we are the portable individual tents set up outside of the camp to move among the people in the world
God lives in us to influence us to influence others
Acts 7:44-49 God now uses us as the base of operation of the Holy Spirit
First of all the place of opportunity: we become the tent of meeting the tent of testimony – proof that God is alive- we become the tent where people can come and expect to meet with God – realize His presence – receive revelation – experience His mercy and love – hear of His promises – receive healing – enter into fellowship – find direction for life – be anointed for service and enabled for ministry
God is saying position me so I can do the work.
