Clint Novak is the General Manager of Fun Land in Fredericksburg and oversees Fun Land in Fairfax, both in Virginia. As a dedicated enthusiast of the industry, Clint looks at the guest experience from the perspective of the guest himself. Upon becoming Fun Land’s General Manager, Clint immediately took a deep dive into every issue that guests were having that detracted from their overall experience, and focused on making improvements that in turn, resulted in higher satisfaction, stronger perception of value, and an improved experience that proved the return on investment. Additionally, Fun Land strives to be an active member of the local community, which has resulted in very meaningful experiences that take guest satisfaction to the next level. Clint talks about how he stays connected with managers and owners of similar venues to Fun Land to collaborate on ways to improve the guest experience, and that sharing of ideas can be highly beneficial. And when it comes to employee satisfaction, it’s not one thing that keeps employees motivated, but a culmination of little things that add up to ways to keep employees happy, engaged, and retained.
