Sean Fernandez is the CIO for ROLLER Software, and in this interview, we talk about all things data security. Recently, ROLLER was awarded an Independent Software Vendor (IVS) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and also successfully completed a penetration test that included an attempted breach of ROLLER’s server. While venue operators may not always want to be thinking about their data security, it should always be top of mind, especially when employees are given access to devices that contain sensitive data, otherwise you risk that data being compromised. Sean says that it is not a matter of if, but when, someone will attempt to hack your data, and shares recommendations for how you can keep your information safe.
