As November turns the corner to December, we move from large family gatherings with the stress of entertaining family and friends directly into an even larger holiday season. We pack on the pressures of gift-giving, party attending, food preparation and the like. It is now that so many of us begin to feel our bodies slow down and protest. But, are we really listening? The answer, no.
Do not be disheartened. We have the power to listen and we have the power to act. While western medicine plays a very important role in our wellbeing, we play an even more significant one. By engaging a positive and active mindset and paying attention to a few crucial physical elements, we can shift the paradigm that is our wellness and take back control. When we listen to our bodies, we avoid the physical toll the world takes when we don’t pay attention. We are meant to be radiant, happy and healthy and it begins when we take back our power.
