In this episode, I seat with Sarah Pavan in Kitchener, Ontario. Sarah was an indoor volleyball player, turned beach volleyball player in her mid twenties, as she saw an opportunity to go to the Olympics in that discipline. She achieved amazing world results in both indoor and beach volleyball, including a Beach Volleyball World Championship title in 2019. While we met only one week after she learnt that she missed the 2024 Paris Olympics by only one spot, Sarah was surprisingly not that upset, a sign that she might have reached the end of her long lasting top level career. But she can't stop chasing greatness, so now, she might be joining a pickleball league, and try to excel there again!
