On a grim May Day in Orkney, a young mother, Morgause, finds herself mysteriously reunited with the newborn baby that was seized from her. As the young Mordred faces the tribulations of growing up in a world he doesn’t seem to belong in, the otherworldly magic of a witch gives him hope that there might be more for him in the world.
