Description

In today's episode I interview Virginie Hélias, the chief sustainability officer of the consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble, about her leadership journey and the principles that she lives by.

Eight years ago Virginie decided that she was going to make sustainability her job. Two weeks after making this decision she wrote a job description for a corporate sustainability role and booked a 20-minute meetings with the CEO in Cincinnati. The rest, as they say, is history, or in this case her story.

In this interview, recorded in June 2019 she shares her story, and how being clear on what you want, being brave not perfect and being prepared are 3 of the key leadership principles that have enabled her to succeed in work and life.
