Together we discussed him growing up and picking up his first board in Massachusetts, moving to Long Island, NY in 1998, skating and making videos with his friends in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, starting to collect boards in 2004 and that same year launching his first website guymariano.com, quickly changing the name to “Bobshirt”, working in lighting and rigging on video productions throughout the years aside from his skateboarding projects, his wife Sarah starting the skateboarding-focused charity “Deckaid” in 2013, interviewing Gino Iannucci as a promotional effort for Deckaid which kickstarted his amazing Bobshirt video interviews with iconic skaters and industry people of the 90’s onwards, the involvement of Deckaid with the Girl 30 year anniversary in 2023…
