On 6/28/22, The Family Investigations Bureau Adult Sex Crimes Unit responded to the sexual assault of a 22-year-old female who said she was sexually assaulted over the course of 6-7 hour time frame. Detectives recognized similarities to a second sexual assault a week prior. This is when they connected the two crimes and identified the suspect as 25-year-old Tyler Munguia. Two weeks later a third victim came forward after hearing about Munguia’s arrest, which led to an additional search warrant of the suspect’s phone. Images from his phone depicted an additional four assaults. Three of those victims were identified and interviewed, but the fourth has yet to be contacted. We are asking for the public’s help in locating the victim so the full amount of justice can be served in this case.
