This past weekend Duke won its 22nd overall ACC Championship and the first for head coach Jon Scheyer. The Blue Devils never trailed the Virginia Cavaliers as Jeremy Roach and ACC tournament MVP Kyle Filipowski led the team in scoring. Coach Scheyer becomes the first coach to win an ACC title both as a player and a head coach.
The stage is now set for the NCAA tournament. No. 5 seed Duke will face No. 12 seed Oral Roberts this Thursday in Orlando. No. 11 seed NC State will face No. 6 seed Creighton this Friday in Denver.
