Description

Like many good things, Mollie Anderson got the idea for her company over a beer.
Twinkle Brews Candle company started over the love of craft beer and the desire to capture the taste and smell, even after the beer is gone.
Fast forward and you can find her candles in shops around St. Louis, even the gift shop at the new St. Louis Aquarium.
But festivals, craft fairs and markets are where she does a lot of her business, all of those are on hold due to the coronavirus.
It’s a struggle facing hundreds of makers in St. Louis and around the country. The Women’s Creative is holding virtual markets and many businesses are moving quickly to adapt and adjust, building online stores.
Mollie joined us on the podcast to talk about the impact of the pandemic on local makers, how quarantine is inspiring new products and how the support of the St. Louis Craft Beer community helped make her business a reality
