Description

Models predict that the US will hit peak use of hospital and medical resources today, April 11th. But Washington state is an exception ... so far, it tentatively looks like we're a few days past our own peak.

KIRO Radio reporter Aaron Granillo takes us inside Washington's coronavirus command center at Camp Murray.

Dr. Stephen Anderson, an emergency room physician in Auburn, tells us what it's like to work in his hospital right now, caring for more coronavirus patients than they have at any other point during this crisis.

And how much longer will the pandemic go on? The University of Washington's model has quickly become the national standard for predicting the future of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. KIRO Radio's Dave Ross asks Dr. Ali Mokdad how we can end this.
