“Culture State” is a podcast that celebrates North Carolina sports, sports history and it’s influences on pop culture, music and entertainment as a whole. In this weekly series, Chris Lea (WRAL-TV) and Dennis Cox (99.9 The Fan) will discuss state-based issues, along with interviewing famed sports figures, entertainers, and pop-culture icons about their love and contributions to the North Carolina Sports Culture. This state has a large, and sometimes over-looked, impact on the national sports scene, so “Culture State” will instill pride in natives, residents and fans something in what’s produced or influenced by our state, while also generating intriguing continuing fan conversations and water-cooler moment laughs.
