Sherree Lucas' water broke in her kitchen when she was 35 weeks pregnant. What happened next was scary, confusing, and a rush of emotions, and can be for the one in ten moms who have a baby before full term. Sherree now works for a company called Sera Prognostics a Salt Lake based company that provides a preterm birth test which pregnant mothers can take to help identify if they're at risk of going into early labor. Host Lindsay Aerts also talks with Aimee Nussbaum of the March of Dimes about what a mom can do to help prevent the risk of premature birth. Among other things, the March of Dimes helps provide resources to families who have been effected by a premature birth. They have a March for Babies walk coming up on May 19th at Sugarhouse Park.
