Description

The former chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Jason Chaffetz, hosted a talk show on KSL NewsRadio Monday night.  Bonneville International’s KSL invited Chaffetz to host during the evening of September 11, the five-year anniversary of the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi.  Chaffetz addressed multiple topics during his two hours, including the U.S. debt ceiling, turnover in the Trump White House and speculation about the future of Orrin Hatch’s senate seat.

Chaffetz also gave a pointed response to Hillary Clinton’s accusation that Trump associates helped Russia meddle with the 2016 election. “If she has direct evidence, she should present that,” said Chaffetz during his solo broadcast.  He called her actions self-serving and reminded Salt Lake City listeners that President Obama once said that even if someone wanted to manipulate the election, they couldn’t.
