A Taiwanese female singer, Yang Naiwen , is known as the "Queen of Rock".
In the 11th Golden Melody Awards, she won the Best Mandarin Female Singer Award.
Additionally, she has worked as a model and performed on stage.
In order to continue her studies, she returned to Australia.
In that time,林暐哲considered her to be a potential singer.
After signing a contract with Magic Rock Records, she began discussing plans for a solo album with her.
In 1996, she completed her university studies and returned to Taiwan to prepare and record her solo album.
She released her first solo album "One" on July 29, 1997.
Just over a month after its release, sales reached 100,000 copies without much publicity.
Although it didn't compare to an era when Mandarin albums easily exceeded one million copies, this was a significant achievement in the non-mainstream music market.
"Silence" is her second album.
In addition to they林暐哲, 張震嶽 and 陳珊霓also contributed to the production.
On this album, she also specially covers "Somebody" by Martin Gore, the popular frontman主唱 of the British band "Don't Say Goodbye" .
She also contributed lyrics and music to this album for the first time - "Fear".
The following year, she won the Best Mandarin Female Singer Award at the 11th Golden Melody Awards for her "Silence" album.
2024
The night before the album was released, she held a "Flow" Live Concert at Taipei Legacy.
On July 21, the first lead single "A Dream of Bonnie and Clyde" was released, and it was produced by JADE, who just won the Best Single Producer Award最佳單曲製作人獎 at the 34th Golden Melody Awards.
