Merry Christmas!！ We welcome you to our program, 愛的凱歌 (Adore Him). Today, we would like to share with you the song "Christmas Day" based on Chris Tomlin’s EP Christmas Day: Christmas Songs of Worship released in 2019.
Some lines from the song “Christmas Day” describe: “The darkness was deep, but never hopeless. Redemption came, and His name is Jesus!” The song's chorus declares that Jesus Christ is good and was born to conquer the grave. He is the light of the world and the reason for Christmas. In the Bible, God declares the truth about his son, Jesus Christ, “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind” (John 1:4). He also reveals to us, “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world” (John 1:9). Redemption not only came, but God also promised that in the end, Christ must come again. He is our eschatological hope.
We have recorded our own version of "Christmas Day" after translating its lyrics into Chinese. If you're interested, we invite you to sing along with us. Hello, 各位聽眾朋友們！聖誕快樂！歡迎收聽愛的凱歌(Adore Him)。
今天要與您分享的詩歌是：「聖誕節日」 (“Christmas Day”)。這首詩歌是由Chris Tomlin與We The Kingdom樂團合作創作的詩歌；出自於2019年Chris Tomlin的迷你專輯(EP) Christmas Day: Songs of Worship。
「聖誕節日」有段歌詞這麽描述：「黑暗極深，但不致絕望；救贖臨到，祂的名是耶穌！」並在副歌中重複強調：「祂(基督耶穌)本為善，祂本為善；祂降生為戰勝死亡。（祂是）世界的光，聖誕節日的由來。」
越南的朋友告訴我，在他們國家，聖誕節詩歌的曲調大部分是比較哀傷。歌詞多描述對親友、愛人能夠快快從戰爭中平安回來，並且向神禱告，願救主耶穌基督帶給世人永恆的盼望，再次使他們得著安慰與安息。透過這位姐妹，再次讓我思想：「聖誕節日的由來是什麼？」
誠如「聖誕節日」這首詩歌所描述的：「救贖臨到，祂的名是耶穌！」「祂本為善；祂降生為戰勝死亡。世界的光，聖誕節日的由來。」聖經約翰福音1:4說道：「生命在祂裡頭，這生命就是人的光。」約翰福音1:9又說：「那光是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。」救贖恩典不單單已經臨到，聖經還提到，在末日，耶穌必定再來；祂是我們終末的盼望，帶給我們永恆喜樂的安息。
