In this episode we talk to Joe Heffernan, a professional with a career in supply chain stretching back over 25 years in the life sciences and technology manufacturing sectors in Ireland. Joe has worked with a range of multinational corporations on strategic procurement, organizational effectiveness and decision-making for investment decisions in highly regulated environments.
Additionally, Joe is a man who has a keen interest in, and pays close attention to, the affairs of the world and the major trends that are currently shaping the world of work, business and society. This is apposite at this specific moment in time given that the programme is being recorded right in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic here in Ireland. It is a time when we still do not know the full human and economic impact at home and abroad and we will be touching on some of the current issues and likely future consequences related to that crisis in this interview.
