In this episode, we talk to Dr John Carr. John is a recognized international expert in supply chain management. His career stretches back to the 1980s with management position at companies such as Digital Equipment, EMC, Samsung, Irish express Cargo and Flex International.
John has a doctorate in supply Chain and master’s degrees in Advanced Manufacturing and Business Administration and currently heads the supply chain consultancy Offerre with clients in both the multinational and SME sectors. John is currently involved with several initiatives with IMC in Ireland and MIT in US to ramp up the production of ventilators in the COVID19 crisis.
In this interview, we discuss this exciting initiative and we exchange views on the past, present and likely future of global manufacturing and the supply chains that underpin it.
