The book of Joshua 1:9 says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go". Shurvone was a child on a disturbing journey, where she struggled with confidence and low esteem due to multiple life experiences. God gave Shurvone the spirit that she can still have joy in the midst of the storm and to never give up.
