5th Annual Manatee Pride Fest on 3/17/18 at Bradenton Riverwalk noon to 5 pm features live entertainment (music, drag queens, performance artists), local vendors, food trucks, and Manatee Pride Beer. Prism Youth Initiative is Manatee County's LGBTQ youth organization that is dedicated to supporting, affirming, encouraging, and empowering the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth ages 13-23 of Manatee County in an environment that is safe, hospitable, warm and welcoming.
Valerie Fisher is the president of the board of directors of Prism Youth Initiative, and chairs Manatee Pride; Melissa serves on both the Prism Board and Pride committee.
