Dropped in the middle of the jungle, five men and a Labrador were the secret weapon in finding the elusive enemy. Tyler talks with Sue Merritt, author of Seek On: The History of the Combat Tracker Teams of the Vietnam War and wife to Frank Merritt, one of the first to volunteer for the teams, about this well kept secret against the guerilla warfare tactics of the Viet Cong. Trained by the British Jungle Warfare School in Malaya, these men and their canines were fear by the Viet Cong and highly effective in hunting down the enemy. Sadly, the Combat Tracker Teams were shrouded in secrecy and hidden away from history.
