Kathy (Kathleen) Sheehan Tyson was born in New York City and graduated from Marymount High School and New York University with
a BA in Spanish and Spanish American Literature. She was able
to travel extensively during her teenage and young adult years.
After graduating from New York
University, she became a
Registered Nurse and received a BSN (In Nursing), also from NYU.
She then worked in NYC hospitals, had a family, and returned to psychiatric nursing. She and her husband,
David, still live in NYC and
consider themselves very fortunate to live there.
