Everyone loves a bargain. And it’s even sweeter if you know the money is going to a good cause. In this week’s Dear Green Place we go to one of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice charity shops. There are 17 shops throughout Glasgow and they make a significant contribution to the fundraising effort for Glasgow’s Hospice. Pauline Moore spends a morning at The Hospice Shop in Thornliebank which is the only charity shop in the area. And as she discovers it’s pretty much at the centre of the community.
