Dr. Kimberly Arcand
BIO:
Dr. Kimberly Arcand is a leading expert in astronomy visualization and has been a pioneer in 3D imaging, printing, extended reality applications and sonifications with astrophysics data from black holes to exploded stars and pulsars. She has worked for NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory since 1998. She has authored or co-authored eight popular nonfiction books and has been recently featured on the BBC, PBS, in the Washington Post, New York Times, LA Times and other media.
