I was so ashamed, here I was, looking at the replay of me interviewing a marketing legend. A man who's been actively marketing since before the internet.
Someone with true skill lead nurturing.
He was spitting fire from the first second, answering every question with skill, finesse, and clarity. Russ was a real champ.
However, I looked distracted and disrespectful.
What you can't see in the Live stream is the number of technical difficulties we had. It was so bad that I had to use my laptop as a camera stand for my phone.
Nothing seemed to be working, except for the glorious brain of Russ.
The interview didn't do him honor.
That's why we're redoing it tonight. This time I'll make sure that we make the most out of it. I'll have my eyes peeled to the screen and my ears right open.
Here's what I'm going to ask Russ:
1) What's your method for finding and following up with leads?
2) How do you help coaches and speakers book more events?
3) How do you manage to post so much valuable content in so little time?
4) How did you manage to transition so well into the digital age?
5) How can I make sure I'll be as cool as you when I turn 50?
This is gonna be one for the history books,
See you there
