Does anyone know who Terry Melcher is? He was Doris Day’s son and a brilliant music producer who produced for powerhouses such as The Beachboy’s, Byrds, Paul Revere and the Raiders and made up the duo known as The Ripcords.
Much of this was overshadowed by his association with Charles Manson. Adding to the intrigue he lived with Candice Bergen during this period.
- In tribute this week, we are playing 4-5 songs that he produced and or sang on ... you've heard of Turn Turn Turn, Mister Tambourine Man, Kokomo and Kicks.
- We have some new songs from The Jellybricks, Distant Cousins, The Weeklings and more. Bob Dylan and Guns N’Roses in the Deuces.
- More from The Troggs, Ramones and a little R.E.M.
- Shout outs to Access Storage and William Blount, Argus, Triple Nichol and Odessa Storage.
- ’Baby Ruth’ will get us on the air at 3:00 Eastern.
- And thanks for the tremendous amount of views (over 2,000) we received from our Radio Wilder/Carl Touhey session.
