Radiowilder live number 259 after Vegas as a special request from Andrew Kelly from the Sierra Consulting Group. Andrew was formally a member of the great National Self Storage team and lost one of their members, Bill Stevenson, who is one of their absolute favorites this week, and the reason Andrew did not make Las Vegas. Bill was known for his karaoke skills and he would do a king of the road at every karaoke bar that he could find and at the end he would take his 6-foot 4-inch 240-pound frame and cartwheel across the stage. Quite a sight! So Andrew asked us to do a "King of the Road" and a little mention of Bill and his antics. We are happy to do this for you, Andrew, and the former members of National Self Storage. We have a great lineup of new hits this week featuring a wonderful Deuces with "Walk this Way" by Aerosmith. One of the songs changed the way people looked at Rock 'n' Roll forever. This was a song combination of rap, a little punk, and a little extra rock'n'roll! It was "Walk this Way" - done by Run DMC. And in addition to that, we have Jane Lee Hooker, Nick Piunti, and Ricki Byrd. I show also features Eddie Money, the Beatles, Sam Fender, Pink Floyd, "Tutus" snuck in by Harry himself from the Spencer Davis group, and a really nice version of "Hitchhike" by Marvin Gaye. Shoutouts this week go to the Inside Self Storage Team led by Teri Lanza, Debbie Pirkey, and Kim Hamilton in a cast of thousands as they put together a really impressive show at the newly opened Caesars Forum with over 5000 attendees.
