š³šø Rocking with the Hellās Angels! š¶
Last week, I mentioned our week-long gig in San Jose. What I didnāt mention? It was at a real Hellās Angels clubānot your businessmen weekend rider types, but the rough, tough, rowdy Hellās Angels! šļø This place had a big stage, and once we started playing, it got LOUD. So, naturally, we cranked it up even more. š
About thirty minutes in, a massive guy came up to the stage and said his band wanted to sit in right nowāusing our equipment! Our organist flat-out refused to let anyone near his big Hammond B3, and our guitarist was also a hard no. But after a quick huddle, we decided to let them go for itāfigured it was better than risking our stuff! I handed over my drumsticks and sat back to watch. š¹šø
They wereā¦not great š . After 20 minutes, they wrapped up, and the big guy came over to thank us. For the rest of the week, we didnāt pay for a single drink! š»
