Description

This workshop will address the importance of knowing oneself in order to effectively find our voice as a leader. Presented by Dr. Lisa Templeton, clinical cognitive-behavioral psychologist and author of Letting It Be: Mindful Lessons Toward Acceptance, this hour will provide a forum to aid in staying mindful of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and understanding how these are interconnected and influence our leadership abilities. If we have not accepted ourselves, we have not embraced our power to evolve and become who we are truly meant to be. When we know who we are and understand the workings of our mind and body, we draw on the power to transform ourselves.

Three takeaways from the workshop:

1) Learn practices to engage with deeper aspects of yourself;

2) Experience the power of your thoughts, mental images, and emotions; and

3) View yourself from a more objective and compassionate perspective.
