Civil Asset Forfeiture & Government Control
If a cop decides, without a guilty verdict from a court, that you should have as much cash as you are carrying, they can take it from you legally. If a bank decides, without a court order, that you cannot withdraw your money they can legally stop you. If the bank goes broke, they can use your deposits to pay the bills. If you cannot get access to your money is it really yours? Without the money we legally earn and save how much freedom do we really have? Is your money really safe in a bank?
