Everyone focuses on the Federal elections, especially the presidential election. I have found that the local elections like city councils, county commissioners, auditors and sheriffs have a much larger effect on my life. If you, like many Americans, are not happy with the things that are going on in our government, get more involved. Talk to your elected officials. Vote! Run for office yourself. There are many ways to make the world a better place. These are just a few of them.
