This is a non fiction play based on the life of Frank Stagg (4 October 1941 – 12 February 1976) who was an Irish Republican militant, Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) volunteer and hunger striker from County Mayo, Ireland. He died in Wakefield Prison in England in 1976 after 62 days on hunger strike, marking a significant, often overlooked event in the history of the Irish conflict
