Welcome to Episode Forty-Three of Do You Dare?
And this February is black history month so all we will be spending this month highlighting cases of people of colour that are so often overlooked or neglected by police and the media.
This week we head to Forsyth County, Georgia for a case that’s mishandling is all too reminiscent of the locations twisted history.
(Trigger warnings: Discussions of Systemic Racism, Racism, and brief mentions of Lynching.)
In this episode Em covers the case of Tamla Horsford, a wife, mother and friend who attended a birthday sleepover with other soccer mums only to never make it home alive to her family the following morning.
Follow along with us as we try to untangle a mess of contradictory statements and evidence, delve into horrifying details and attempt to figure out how Tamla ended up laying dead in her ‘friends’ backyard below a balcony when nothing in this case seems to line up.
If you want to check out the pages created by Tamla’s family that post case updates, memories, photos and memorials then you can got to Justice For Tamla Horsford on Facebook or @justicefortam on instagram.
