"The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.” Isaiah 9:2. The Incarnation is not simply the demonstration of God's great love for the world, but a light shining in the darkness that, even to this day, reminds us that our eternity hangs in the balance depending on how we respond to that light.
