Day 13 ~ December Blessings: Approaching Time
As we experience different seasons in our lives, I pray you can be deeply encouraged and strengthened by God.
* John 7:6, 8, 30 “Jesus said to them, ‘My time has not yet come, but your time is always here. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify about it that its works are evil. You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come’...So they were seeking to arrest Him, but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.”
* Ecclesiastes 3:1 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
* Daniel 2:20-22 “Daniel answered and said: 'Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.'”
* Ephesians 1:9-10 “…making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth in Him.”
* Matthew 24:45 & Luke 12:42 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?”
PRAYER: Colossians 1:9-14 “I pray that you will be filled with the knowledge of God‘s will, in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
