Day 14 ~ December Blessings: Silent Seeking

Blessing you with hope and encouragement to seek beautiful silence today and days ahead.

SCRIPTURES

* Revelation 21:10-11 “And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.”

* Mark 9: 2-4 “And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them, and his clothes became radiant, intensely white, as no one on earth could bleach them. And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.”

* Hebrews 1:3-4, 8, 10-12 “He [Jesus] is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…But of the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom’… And, ‘You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But You are the same, and your years will have no end.’”

Hymn: Silent Night

1 Silent night, holy night,

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon virgin mother and child!

Holy Infant so tender and mild,

Sleep in heavenly peace,

Sleep in heavenly peace.

2 Silent night, holy night,

Darkness flies, all is light;

Shepherds hear the angels sing,

"Alleluia! hail the King!

Christ the Savior is born,

Christ the Savior is born.”

3 Silent night, holy night,

Son of God, love's pure light

Radiant beams from Thy holy face,

With the dawn of redeeming grace,

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

4 Silent night, holy night,

Wondrous star, lend the light;

With the angels let us sing

Alleluia to our King;

Christ the Savior is born,

Christ the Savior is born.
