We discussed the origins of mutual aid, the theory & observations made by Kropotkin in his essay Mutual Aid: a factor of Evolution. We discussed contemporary examples, went through the criticisms & chatted about their validity. Rae talked about what she does with implementing the theory at a local level with her bicycle team, her personal anarchism & teaching young people how to implement mutual aid vs learning about theory. We did quiz time & had an unlikely winner.
