"The Irish exit. The irony of this title is that prior to being sober I was known in my big drinking
days for making Irish exits on a regular basis. Mainly because I wanted to keep myself from
looking like a fool. This, my most recent “Irish exit” has been FROM drinking and has done
anything but left me feeling like a fool. It has enabled me to feel proud strong and capable.
Urban Dictionary describes it as “the departure from any event without telling any friends,
associates or acquaintances that one is leaving. It is almost always the result of being very
inebriated/intoxicated.”

That is an excerpt from the amazing book Megstar is writing about addiction.
