Description

"With a roar of thunder and a flash of light,

A mighty tempest began to swell,

Out of the darkness came a monstrous sight,

A giant beast they call the hound of hell.

With fur black as night and eyes full of flame,

All who see him fear to speak his name

A bone trembling howl fills the sky

As he moves faster than the blink of an eye.

With fangs to rend and claws to slash

Another life is taken in a flash

All who see him are terror struck

As they come face to face with Black Shuck."

Written by Jason Allen

In this episode Jason explores the legends of Black Shuck, the hellhound who terrorized The Fens and The Wash of East Anglia in England during the 1500s. Some say he's nothing more than a myth made up to scare people while others believe he's the Devil himself. Many claim to still see him haunting the wilds to this day.

Trigger Warning: This episode contains brief mentions of torture, cannibalism and a vicious dog attack. Listener discretion is advised.
