Loes chats about her start in baseball at seven years of age, before a switch her sport of choice to softball as there were no opportunities in the Netherlands for girls to keep playing baseball as a teenager.
Loes was part of the inaugural Dutch National Team in 2010, and her journey has included five World Cups, the first European Women's Championships and a trip to play ball down under.
