Many people think of only war stories when thinking of valor but in this episode, we talk about a boy in high school that fights off a would-be shooter, we talk about two stories from Nazi Germany and the horrid treatment of the Jews. Two teenage girls, at the risk of losing their own lives, hid 13 Jews in their attic in order to save them. Irena Sendler who smuggled over 2500 kids out of the German ghettos in order to save their lives. Acts like standing up to tyranny in China to elderly nuclear engineers volunteering to clean up radioactive debris so that they younger men wouldn’t have to be exposed to the radiation. There are so many stories of people doing brave and admirable things and showing that they truly live lives of valor.
