On this episode of A Brothers’ Creed Podcast we talk about little known wars in history that you might not be aware of. These wars in some cases lasted only days while others lasted 50+ years. Ethan starts out by sharing the story of the War of Zanzibar, this battle was a result of a local leaders pushing back against the British puppet president they planned to install after the death of a former puppet president. Jared then shares details about the 50 years long Comanche Mexican war that took place here in the American continent. This brutal war decimated the Northern Mexico area for many years as the Comanche horse raiders acted like Vikings here in the Americas. At one point a bounty of 100 pesos per Comanche scalp was offered by the government. Ethan and Jared also share other interesting small-time wars that in some cases have a ridiculous root cause. If we don't learn from history we are bound to repeat it.Â
