Description

In this episode of Alive & Sober with Reno C., Reno explores the theme: "You might not see it until you look back." Reno shares how addiction often convinces us that nothing is changing, but real growth can be slow and only visible in hindsight. Drawing from Philippians 1:6, "He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion," Reno reflects on his own recovery journey, the importance of patience, and how even small steps forward matter. He discusses how decisions made from a place of love and humility can shape a better future, even if progress feels invisible in the moment.

Take action with the 4 R’s:
Read: Philippians 1:6 – "He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion."
Reflect: Think about moments in your life where change was only clear in hindsight. How has your journey shaped you, even when you didn’t notice progress?
Respond: Pray, "Jesus, give me patience to take small steps today. Help me trust that you are working in my life, even when I can’t see it. Thank you for loving me and guiding my recovery. Amen."
Reveal: Share your story with someone else in recovery. Let them know that even slow progress is still progress, and encourage them to keep moving forward.

If you’re feeling stuck or discouraged, this episode will remind you that God is always at work, and every small decision made in faith is building something good. Stay connected, keep fighting, and remember—you are not alone.
