This weeks guest is another pioneer in American Bass music culture. I first became aware of him during the beginning days of the internet. Through the Phunckateck Crew: As a co-founder of this seminal San Francisco collective in 1996, he worked alongside early US jungle pioneers to establish the West Coast D&B scene. The raves looked legendary and his sets and mixtapes from this period were some of my favorite. Over the years I have had the good fortune to see him live a few times now and he ALWAYS rinses the place. Ed continues to push boundaries in all aspects of dance music. He has worked with and put out records with some the biggest names in the underground. No need to name drop. There are too many anyway.
