Emer speaks to Jarlath about the phenomenon of micro-aggression, the exceptional challenges that she faced growing up as a person of colour in Ireland and her shocking experiences of racism in adulthood.

 
From her powerful words on calling out racism to her questioning of how diverse the Irish education system is in hiring people of colour, the need for an anti-bullying policy in Irish schools and her experiences living in Mississippi on a basketball scholarship, this is a truly eye-opening and sobering conversation about 'everyday racism' and how it needs to be addressed.
