Description

Many people joke that they wish could clone themselves so they could be twice as productive. Well,...you kinda can. Learn how to redirect your brain's editing system to filter for inputs you need to solve a problem, without the painful iteration.

By it's very nature, creativity requires we journey into the unknown. Yet, by its very nature, our brain really likes repetition. In fact, there is a whole system that filters out sensory inputs, rejecting the vast majority of information our senses deliver to us. In this episode, learn how to give that editor some different instructions so that filter running around in the background is helping you get things done while you go about the rest of your day.

  1. Learn how to recognize habit based thinking and how it keeps you stuck in iterative loops of limited possibility
  2. Get tips on how to use your brain more like a search engine by making queries based on the problem you want to solve
  3. Shift out of believing things won;t work, and start asking, "How can I?"
  4. Trust the process, knowing that your brain will find an answer if you just set it free to look
